Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

Clients with FASD who participated in a residential treatment program that included Animal Assisted Therapy showed significant improvements.
  • 60% decrease in physical aggression
  • 80% increase in life skills acquisition
  • 80% increased ability to cope with stress
  • 80% increase in improved emotional health
  • 60% increase in functioning outside of the
  • therapeutic environment
